Leroy Sane’s Manchester City team-mates are becoming increasingly convinced the winger will join Bayern Munich next summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Bayern wanted to sign Sane last summer but those hopes ended when he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in August, even if there had been serious doubts about the Bavarian club’s willingness to meet Manchester City’s £137million price tag.

But the injury has not deterred Bayern in their bid to land Sane and they are set to return for the Germany international next summer, when the 23-year-old’s valuation could fall as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at the Etihad.
Board member Edmund Stoiber insists the management team will be given the green light to pursue the Manchester City winger again.
The 23-year-old was injured in the Community Shield, with Bayern subsequently moving for Philippe Coutinho instead.
'There were discussions over Sane,' Stoiber confirmed to SportBild.
'The unfortunate injury and the surgery he required for it broke the deal up.
'We'll see how things develop. As chairman of the advisory board and a member of the supervisory board, I have great faith in the sporting leadership.
'If they propose a transfer of this magnitude, that is justified.'
Sane had surgery on his right knee after damaging his ACL. Although initially ruled out until March, there is growing optimism he could return to action in February and play a part in the final months of the campaign.
City are set to move for with Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal is Sane leaves.
